Seasonal calendar for December

In December, winter is in full swing and with the cold temperatures the need for hearty dishes that warm increases. It’s the perfect time for all dishes with cabbage, which now presents itself to us in all colors and shapes. From Brussels sprouts and savoy cabbage to the classic kale, you will find seasonal cabbage vegetables in the regional assortment. But even now you don’t have to do without fresh greens. Winter salads such as lamb’s lettuce, lamb’s lettuce and endive also enrich the seasonal menu in winter. You can still find robust root vegetables, pumpkins, apples and pears in stock.

You can find seasonal fruits, vegetables, salads and herbs in our farm store in Berlin Herzberge and on our market day in Berlin Rummelsburg. All our products can be transparently traced back to their origin. We stand for short distances and sustainability. Therefore, we only offer fresh vegetables and salads from our own cultivation or from our local partners in Berlin and Brandenburg – uncompromisingly seasonal and sustainable.
